Pellon® Sticky-Grid-N-Tear™ is a pressure sensitive tear-away embroidery stabilizer that has grid lines for stitch support, making it ideal for stamped cross stitch. It is extremely easy to use — just peel off the paper backing and apply to the fabric. Upon completion of the design, simply tear away the excess stabilizer.
Tip for paper backed products: Start by peeling from corner or score the backing at narrow point from one side to the other of the appliqué. Bend at this point to start the release process.
General Directions:
1. Cut a piece of Sticky-Grid-N-Tear™ slightly larger than the area to be stitched.
2. Hoop the Sticky-Grid-N-Tear™ with the paper side up. Using a pin or craft knife, carefully score the paper and peel away from the stabilizer.
3. Lightly finger press fabric over the hoop keeping the grain line straight. Use the grid lines as a guide.
4. Embroider your design.
5. After design is complete, gently tear away the excess stabilizer.
