Meet Karen
Pellon: When and why did you start sewing/quilting/crafting?
Karen: I started sewing when I was very young. I would hand stitch clothes for my cat Fluffy and she actually let me dress her. That translated into clothes for my dolls. Soon I was making clothes for myself and then all of my children. When fabric became more expensive and clothing became more affordable, I turned my attention to quilting and cloth bags.
P: What inspires you to start a project?
K: A piece of fabric, a shape or design, just about anything. If I don’t have 4-5 projects going at one time, well I always do. It’s my business now and I love it!
